Patagonia is one of the world’s most precious natural relics. Shared between Chile and Argentina, the region is home to a multitude of species, natural treasures, and breathtaking landscapes.

A territory as rich as Patagonia calls out to be explored in depth, which is why we have connected our destinations with lodge-to-lodge programs using Explora transportation.

Patagonia offers countless unmissable explorations, ranging from natural wonders to museums offering insight into the area’s unique history and ecosystems.

Patagonia National Park

Chile’s Patagonia National Park is a conservation area that’s as rugged and daring as it is tranquil. Our explorations within the park invite you to admire wildlife and hike, bike, overland, or kayak to awe-inspiring viewpoints. Patagonia National Park’s swift rivers, turquoise lakes, mountain peaks and valleys await you and your fellow explorers.

Torres del Paine

Torres del Paine is a Chilean national park known for its spectacular landscapes. It’s a must-visit destination for its golden grasslands (pampas), snow-covered mountains, crystal-clear lakes and famed granite spires.

El Chaltén

In the Santa Cruz Province of Argentinian Patagonia, El Chaltén is a paradise for explorers. Even the most leisurely walks can lead to stunning views of glaciers, jagged peaks and rushing rivers. Peaceful lakes provide remarkable contrasts to the rugged mountains behind. Explorations in El Chaltén will lead you to some of the world’s most spectacular natural scenery.

Culture

The gaucho, a typical figure of Patagonia, is responsible for the tasks on the ranch. A free and solitary personality (although very hospitable), he rises before sunrise to drive the livestock over the plains and occupies himself with the activities of the farm. An expert rider, he is also skilled in the use of the boleadoras, a weapon composed of rocks joined by lines of leather used by the ancient tehuelches.
