    An amazing experience

explora Patagonia exceeded expectations. Firstly, what a stunningly beautiful location right in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park with views that change frequently, each one a feast for the eyes. Enter the hotel to the warmest of welcomes from Kareen and members of the Explora staff who without exception were truly magnificent. The facilities of the hotel accommodate ones every need, beautifully appointed bedrooms, warm and inviting areas to relax, a delightful bar and dining room with windows that showcase the snow-capped mountains, lake and waterfall.

Great Hotel! Don't bring your kids, you will spoil them!

There is no WIFI in rooms, and I think it's a great idea to make people get out and socialize. By the end of our stay, we have made so many new friends that we promised ourselves to return again!

I LOVE THIS LODGE - AMAZING

I have been lucky enough to stay in all of the explora's in South America. I love to hike and I love their concept and locations. Up to now...the one in Torres del Paine in Chile was my favorite.... but with my recent stay in the Sacred Valley...it is a real toss-up. This place has only been open a little bit and although the rooms are simple (they are in all the exploras) the views are always spectacular. Right outside my window was an amazing field of Quinoa in all colors backed by the dark blue-green of the Andes. Their all-inclusive idea is wonderful as the only thing you have to worry about is which hike or excursion you are going to take the next day.

    What a place!

Fantastic place in Sacred Valley. The hotel includes everything you need, breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour, wines, drinks, beer, and also, all visits to the most important places in the region. The service is amazing, very nice people. Really recommended. Ps: the idea of the hotel is to let you rest and disconnect during the stay, so, there is no internet and TV in the rooms. And this is an amazing experience too.

    Hiking into History

explora provided a full experience of Rapa Nui. As we were taken from one site to another by our knowledgeable guides, we learned about the history and meaning of the famous moai. Several of our guides were local Rapa Nui, who gave an authentic view of the land. Seeing the island by hiking was a great way to see lesser known sights that we could only access on foot. The lodge is tastefully designed to blend into the landscape with a cozy lounge to relax and plan our next day's activities. Although I would have liked to see more local food on the menu, we enjoyed the meals and especially the local appetizers served at a traditional dance demonstration and a local style barbeque dinner.

Going to Rapa Nui was a dream come true

Initially, we had an issue with the internet situation, but after a while, we liked the fact that we only had connection in the main area. We also got used to not having a TV (why shouldn't’ we?)

Jewel of the Atacama Desert- Enriching experience

If you think you know what to expect from a desert, you will get a lot more surprises. explora Atacama ensures you get all the best, if not unique, experiences of your explorations in the area. They also have the best horses that you can ride for some of the excursions. If you are up to adventure, explora team will be with you to experience it all. I did the Travesía package to Salta, Argentina as well, it completed experience overall. The change of landscape and colors from desert to the valley as well as the experience of the farmhouse on exclusive 5000 hectares of land of Explora was also rather unique. I would certainly try another Travesía with explora again.

One of the Best Trips Ever

The concept is for guests to be outdoors, in nature, so rooms are spartan. They are clean, with nice towels, bathrobes and very comfortable beds. There is no wi-fi in the rooms - because you go there to be OUTSIDE. There is wi-fi in the lobby. You go there to disconnect, be in nature, be with your family. If you can't handle it, this is not the right place for you to go.
