Great Hotel! Don't bring your kids, you will spoil them!

There is no WIFI in rooms, and I think it's a great idea to make people get out and socialize. By the end of our stay, we have made so many new friends that we promised ourselves to return again!

Incredible stay. Could not recommend more.

Where to begin... What an incredible stay we have just had. The hotel is located right in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Right from the start the experience is fantastic. Wonderful staff. Beautiful room. Stunning views from every angle. The guides are amazing and help to recommend the right activities for your interests. We did 3 full-day hikes to complete the W. Challenging but well worth it. The landscape is incredible. You're looked after so well. We even had a table cloth and hot soup and coffee with lunch at the top of the mountain! Could not recommend this place more. Well worth the money.

    What a place!

Fantastic place in Sacred Valley. The hotel includes everything you need, breakfast, lunch, dinner, happy hour, wines, drinks, beer, and also, all visits to the most important places in the region. The service is amazing, very nice people. Really recommended. Ps: the idea of the hotel is to let you rest and disconnect during the stay, so, there is no internet and TV in the rooms. And this is an amazing experience too.

    Outdoor adventures

Beautiful hotel and helpful staff. Food was excellent and everyday was filled with activity. We stayed for 3 days and did several hikes and two mountain bike trips. Good spot for the adventurous. Spa is new with pool, sauna, and steam. Angel is a great guide!

Going to Rapa Nui was a dream come true

Initially, we had an issue with the internet situation, but after a while, we liked the fact that we only had connection in the main area. We also got used to not having a TV (why shouldn't’ we?)

    Dream trip, dream location

Rapa Nui has been on my bucket list for years and my dream came true at explora. Every detail is considered at this wonderful hotel: quiet location with gorgeous views, friendly & attentive staff, comfortable rooms, delicious food (especially any lamb dish) and outstanding excursions. We spent time each day with a guide planning the next day's excursions, making sure we saw the highlights and beyond. Our priority was to hike rather than spend all of our time in a van and to see as much as possible without being in large crowds. I think our largest group was six people and in addition to the main destinations, our guides took us to places that I doubt most visitors see: into tiny mountain-top caves with moai and petroglyphs that are hundreds of years old, down cliff-side paths with stunning sea views. Our guides were one of the highlights of this trip, with their passion for the island's history & culture, and boundless curiosity. The staff, in general, was fantastic, from bartenders who remembered our names to the hotel hostess (Paulina) who arranged a wonderful lunch for us in Valparaiso following our stay (and a stargazing session on the hotel property. And contacted our previous hotel to get a copy of the immigration paper I lost). There is no other place like this on the island, and it's worth every penny. If you're going to one of the most remote places on earth and you want the best experience, stay at explora.

One of the Best Trips Ever

The concept is for guests to be outdoors, in nature, so rooms are spartan. They are clean, with nice towels, bathrobes and very comfortable beds. There is no wi-fi in the rooms - because you go there to be OUTSIDE. There is wi-fi in the lobby. You go there to disconnect, be in nature, be with your family. If you can't handle it, this is not the right place for you to go.

So amazing that I come back again :-)

There is no word to describe the explora experience. I've been here the first time last June 2017 and I was so happy with them that I also went to their lodge in Easter Island. This year i went with them for a Travesia Expedition between Argentina and Chile and I then decide to spend few more day here in Atacama. What they offer is not only a place to discover but a true experience of life!
