Tips are voluntary. If you wish to leave any, you can do so at the hotel reception at the end of your stay. It will be distributed among all those who contributed to making your trip a unique experience. We suggest leaving USD 100 per day per room.














What emergency medical services are available?
All of our guides are Wilderness First Response (WFR) certified, guaranteeing that they have the necessary knowledge and abilities to aid people in remote locations.
In the Park administration, 15 minutes from the hotel, there is a paramedic stationed year round.
For more serious situations there is a hospital in Puerto Natales, 1.5 hours from the hotel, as well as the Clínica Magallanes in Punta Arenas, which is 5 hours from the hotel.

Neither the hotel nor the surrounding areas have cell phone signal.
How many nights do you recommend staying at Explora?
We recommend a minimum of five nights to have an exploration experience that allows you to deeply discover Patagonia, although we are sure that when discovering the wonders of El Chalten. Six nights are a good alternative to achieve a more comprehensive knowledge of the area.
Can I change the type of my bed in my room?
At the time of booking you must select a room with either a king size bed or two double beds. Being in the lodge, if you require, you may change your bed, subject to availability.
