This kayaking exploration follows one of the most powerful stretches of coastline on Rapa Nui’s eastern shore. Departing from Hanga Nui, with constant views of Ahu Tongariki, we navigate toward the remote Motu Maratiri along an open bay shaped by wind and ocean. This same coastline was described by Captain Cook during the era when the moai lay fallen, offering a rare historical perspective from the sea.
