Nicolás Lagos is a specialist in Chilean wild cats, known for his work spanning over a decade with one of the world’s rarest and most endangered felines, the Andean cat. He currently serves as the Coordinator for the Human-Puma Coexistence Program in Patagonia for the NGO Panthera, and also co-coordinates the NGO Alianza Gato Andino in Chile.

Nicolás’ expertise in South American fauna and felines, including the puma and Andean cat, is shared with Explora collaborators through guide school classes across various like San Pedro de Atacama, Torres del Paine and Patagonia National Park.
