Children’s Benefit at Explora
At Explora, we believe that great adventures are best experienced as a family. That's why we've designed preferential rates so that the youngest guests can discover the world's most extraordinary nature alongside their family, without paying adult rates.
How does it work?
- Under 2 years old: Travel at no cost, sleeping in the same room as their parents.
- Ages 2 to 12: Can sleep in an extra bed in their parents’ room at a special rate starting from USD 310 per child per night (maximum 1 child sharing a room with parents).
- Ages 13 to 17: We offer a family rate starting from USD 360 per person per night in an additional room. The family rate applies with a minimum of 2 young guests per room. If only one young guest is traveling, the minimum occupancy of 2 persons will still be charged.
This benefit includes the same access to exploration, gastronomy, and lodge life enjoyed by adults, maintaining the complete Explora experience for the whole family.

Availability by lodge and season
The children’s and youth benefit is available at most of our lodges, with variations depending on the season. Please check date availability at reserve@explora.com.
Important considerations
- Rates may vary by season.
- At the Rapa Nui lodge, the extra bed in room is available exclusively in the Suite category. Guests in a standard room wishing to travel with children or young guests may do so through the family rate in an additional room.
- This benefit does not apply to Travesías or Expeditions.
- Extra bed stock is limited and subject to availability.
