There isn’t a better reference than from those who have already lived the explora experience in any of our destinations so that future travelers can get an idea of what’s like to explore with us. Here, we share with you what people say about explora on Tripadvisor. This is the voice of travelers that visited us in October.
“We LOVED our stay at The explora Patagonia. The view is incredible, the staff was lovely, but the guides, THE GUIDES really made our trip. So much fun and they really went above and beyond. Food was really nice – but we’ve heard that they’re really stepping it up a notch in the coming weeks with a new chef so I look forward to reading more reviews on this. Some advice: Be sure to arrive at Punta Arenas at the scheduled complimentary pick-up times 🙂 Bring all the right gear! It really is important when out in the mountains 🙂 We heard the best time is to travel in March but we still had a fantastic time in September!” Andrew R.
“What a wonderful experience. Service was top notch from rooms to dining. Guides were very knowledgeable about the area and local traditions. Great way to see the sacred valley. The bar was fully stocked and the spa was great after a long day of hiking and looking at ruins. ” Jay T.
“Really love the “adventure glamping experience” at the explora lodges in South America and the Rapa Nui one was no exception. They really look after you here – from picking you up at the airport, to check in to your final transfer home -all the staff goes out of their way to make sure you have a great time exploring the wonders of Easter Island even if you only have a few days. The guides here are all top notch – Special shout out to Christian who is an encyclopedia of knowledge on Rapa Nui & its history – never thought I would enjoy learning so much! Also a big shout out to the wait staff who always remembered my gluten-free bread! Only negative to the stay was that I did not have the chance to do any snorkeling or fishing that they do advertise as one of the explorations. Not their fault – it was very windy and the seas were just too choppy. Otherwise great experience.” MicroAdventurer.
“I had to explain to friends why I thought staying in the desert for 6 days was a good idea – now I have stories, new friends and photographs to explain. This is a truly magical place. The owners have managed to imbibe just the right balance between relaxed and energetic. All staff is a great combination of extremely friendly and competent. Maureen the host takes great care of all guests and is attentive without being ingratiating. The tremendous excursions range from easy to extreme and are led by truly wonderful guides. Vladimir the Beginner, smiling and laughing Alice, and the ageless Paula encourage and inform. The food is local and fabulous, the cocktails and wine both free (complimentary) and glorious. This is simply the best.” Peter G.
