The Valle Sagrado team celebrates Christmas with local communities

“Cuota de amor” (A fee for love) was the name of the fund raising campaign organized by the explora Valle Sagrado team to bring Christmas to hundreds of children from Urquillos, Poques, Zapacto and Pampallaqta. To make this possible, hotel collaborators donated tips and gifts.

Christmas with local communities

With toys, Panetone and chocolate milk –as is customary in Peru– the team of explora Valle Sagrado volunteers celebrated Christmas with more than 60 children of the San Antonio de Padua school in Urquillos. Afterwards, they met another group of 160 children from the communities of Poques, Zapacto, and Pampallacta, located at more than 3,000 meters above sea level.
