We leave the lodge on foot and head to the summit of the hill that is on the southern edge of the Chacabuco estate. We can see the tracks of guanacos as we observe the impressive view of the valley and we appreciate its geographical features: two great transverse ranges that form the Chacabuco River valley., We will then flank a wetland with typical birds of the region and go around the plains through the "West Winds" campsite.
This sector has areas where different worlds converge, creating unique characteristics due to their interaction, allowing one to gain an in-depth perspective on the local fauna and its historical meaning.
