“I was staying in one of two houses managed by the Chilean travel company explora, whose watchwords are elegant, intelligent minimalism. Their lunches ran more to tuna sashimi, fresh out of the sea that morning. Next year, they plan to break the ground for a small hotel on the dawan-facing south –eastern slope of the island, which will fill the gap for accommodation at the top end of the market”.
