Climate

Located in the heart of Patagonia, at a low altitude and close to the ocean, Torres del Paine National Park has a microclimate with very pleasant daytime temperatures. In the summer, the average daytime temperatures range from 12ºC to 24ºC (54ºF to 75ºF) and in the winter from 2ºC to 16ºC (36ºF to 61ºF).

The climate in El Chaltén is quite similar to that of Torres del Paine, although a little colder. Throughout the year, the average temperatures during the day vary from 2ºC to 23ºC (54ºF to 73ºF).

It's important to point out that the weather is unpredictable throughout Patagonia, both in Chile and Argentina. The changeable winds can make it seem as though all four seasons of the year have occurred in one day.
